yes! they’re very reliable but if you want high horsepower its really hard to add turbos, and bigger modifications in general…

VW group 1.8 turbo 20v is good as it has lots of aftermarket support, but Toyota 2jz engine is the best, and most reliable tuner engine of all time

definitely dpf delete first, so the engine can safely increase power and owner can easily accommodate bigger upgrades in the future
